I am receiving the following error in the very beginning of executing my bot. I have not been able to determine which activity is causing this error, and, therefore, I have been unable to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I’m trying to use the UiPath.FTP.Activities package to connect to a SFTP server using a private RSA key. When doing so I get an error :

“String reference not set to an instance of a String, parameter name s”

I get this error because I left the password field empty. If I put an empty string instead I get a Permission denied (password) error because it’s trying to log using the password.

I think the activity is always trying to connect using the password. Even when I don’t want to because i’m using a private key.

Any tips about what I can do ?

Hi. I have a process with Persistence support. I start a job which in it I’m using Wait for Job and Resume to suspend the process until the other job gets completed. But after the completion of that other job, as I’m watching Jobs dashboard in Orchestrator, the second job’s state changes to Successful and the first process which has started the second job goes to “Resuming” state and then “Pending Allocation”. My first question is, why is there an allocation here? And my second question is the allocation normally never selects the starting process but randomly other robots!? Why’s that? I created an Environment called “Users” which every robot regardless of the type has that. Is that the case here? If yes, isn’t this a bad design? I just wanted to wait for the second process to finish and the first process continue working.

There is an issue with Excel Application Scope where some of the Add-Ins do not load using the activity. I wanted to offer a work-around for now until the issue is able to be properly address. If you use a “Start Process” to open your Excel file, let it load, and then do an Excel Application Scope (with the same file name as the start process) and un-check “visible” in the properties, you should be able to connect and interact with the file that has Add-Ins.

Worked for me, let me know if you have any issues or questions.

Hello, community.

I encountered a problem with C# code execution, namely, when executing an asynchronous method, the execution of the entire project is suspended on Invoke Code and is not executed further.

Hi. I created a Classic Folder named “MyFolder”. In that, I created a Storage Bucket named “MyStorage”. But when I run Upload Storage File activity, I get the following error with no further details:

Upload Storage File: Operation returned an invalid status code 'BadRequest'

I put these data for Upload Storage File activity’s fields:
Path:
"E:\MyFiles\9265.docx"

Orchestrator Folder Path:
"MyFolder"

Destination:
"\9265.docx"

Storage Bucket Name:
"MyStorage"

What is the cause of the error?

I’ve found several posts like this in the forum, but people were always using the UiPath cloud which is why their solutions don’t work for me.

Does anyone know how to handle this?

Hello, can any one help me to get resolve this issue.
