Unable to connect the orch with studio nor with Robo

Hi,

I am using the 20.10.2 ver Community edition on both studio and orch.
I am unable to connect the orch with the studio. Also tried connecting the robot(User mode) with orch on a different machine but no luck.

The error I am facing is the operation has timed out.

I have worked with previous version 20.4 as well and had no issues in connections.

Also, I am not using any VPN to connect with the machine and have tried all possible solutions I could find at my end. Can anyone please help with this? Thanks

SAP System Message Back-end session closed by system

Hi!

Sometimes, when we run a robot in SAP, this error occurs which causes the processing to fail.
Has anyone ever encountered this error and knows why it occurs or what solution could be done so that the robot’s processing does not fail?

Element Exists not working Find

How to retry the process when we get error while middle of the running processing

Hello everyone I’m working on a project which I need to take input data from Excel sheet and fill the form in browser and process it.
I’m getting sometimes error. my project is getting errors sometimes middle of the process . I don’t want to run the whole process again . I want to retry my bot from the last stopped data . Can anyone help me how to solve this.

ODBC driver issue in Windows 10 for Oracle Database

Write your feedback, idea or concern We have a use case in which we have to connect to oracle database for fetching some row items. We are using ODBC driver to establish the connection. This mechanism seems to be work perfectly in Win 7 while the same fails in win 10. In Win 10 we found that the connection is established without any issue but the extraction query returns “0” rows.

The options we tried are as follows,

• Installed Oracle ODBC driver 12.0 version with 32 bit (latest version available for Win 10)
• Created user DSN in ODBC data source 32 bit with driver ‘Microsoft ODBC for oracle’
• Created user DSN in ODBC data source 32\64 bit with driver ‘oracle driver for ODBC’

In win 7 – Oracle ODBC driver 11.0 version with 32 bit is available which was working perfectly and this version is deprecated now.

Please let us know if you have come across similar situation in your project and share your resolutions for the same.

Level 3 Hash assigment Stuck at Throw Incorrect credentials

Okay i managed to create and send the correct credential via Orchestrator now its asking me to create an IF sequence but i dunno where !? Could somebody help me? this guide is very confusing

the next step of the guide is to create an IF ( it has a condition of “NotLogingSuccesFul” i am not sure if thats a var or not)

inside the THEN it has another sequence, a Invoke but i dunno wich one and a Click okay button i assume its the one button when the email and password are wrong and you just cant login, then a Throw INcorrect Credential, i have no idea whats going on please help!

Sending error notification email from Studio X when project errors out

Some errors are expected due to some variables on the target source where data is being collected by Studio X process and some processes can run many hours unattended. Studio X throws a popup with error message. Is there a way to send email notification with the error content when error occurs during runtime?
I basically want to be notified when the process stops so that I can go in and either rerun or fix and rerun. What is the best way to implement error notification via email?

Convert 01012020 date format to 01-01-2020

Hello All,

I have a datatable DT with column date in the form like 20200101 and I would like to convert it to 01-01-2020 for the column.

I used the below expression in Assign:
row(“Reception Date”)= Datetime.ParseExact(row(“Reception date”).ToString,“dd-MM-yyyy”,System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture)

I am getting below error:
String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

Does anyone have a better solution for it?

How to choose excel files

I have 2 excel files (excel1 and excel2). excel 1 has data and a Run button. when pressing the Run button, delete the old data and open the path selection window. and then select excel 2 to get the data. but when I got to the path, I couldn’t choose the excel 2 path. I tried “select files” activity and “click” activity but still can not. please help

Hello,

Today is my first day working with UiPath.

I am trying to send myself an email with multi-factor authentication (e.g. SMS) enabled. However, I receive this error…

Is there a work around or would I have to pursue a longer route through the Chrome extension which recognizes my device and does not require 2FA?

Flow decision error while looping the data

Hello everyone, I’m reading some numeric data from Excel and I’m looping it till the condition satisfied but my bot is stopping after 1 loop and it’s showing error can anyone help me .

Unattended Robot Error, Robot is blackened

Hi guys, last Few days I ran into a problem,
I’m Running a 24-hour process on Remote Desktop with an unattended robot connected to my orchestrator.
I have a parallel background and UI activities process.
problem is, that sometimes when I’m logging into the remote machine I see that the robots icon is blackened, a job is running in orchestrator but doesn’t do any activities, both background, and UI, I don’t have any idea why is that so,
please help

Error in the developer use case "word automation with studio X"

hi,

in the final exercise in the developer use case ‘word automation with studio x’, when trying to complete the word document ‘contract for sale of goods’, i get an error “the main.xaml file” cannot be found or cannot contain special characters". Don’t know what is driving this error or how to solve it…

Hi,

Im getting ‘cannot connect to packages feed the deployment settings may be invalid’ error when I try to publish my project to the orchestrator. Couldn’t find solution here, the deployment settings are done as in instructional video but my connection to the machine via robot is working ok. Does someone know please what could be the issue?

Hi Team,

I Have upgraded Orchestrator from 19.10 to 2020.10. after upgradation i am unable to access Orchestrator from the web browser.
i got the below error
{“message”:“An error has occured.”, “errorcode”:0,“resourceIds”:null}

any one could you please help me to figure the issue and also if anyone knows the steps to decrypt web.config file before upgrading and encrypt the web.config file after upgradation.

Excel Application Scope: Unable to cast COM object of type ‘System.__ComObject’ to interface type ‘System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes.IConnectionPointContainer’. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID ‘{B196B284-BAB4-101A-B69C-00AA00341D07}’ failed due to the following error: The requested object does not exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010114).

I have an excel in the folder, this activity is just use excel app scope to read the range.
But my code always has error in here, if i disable this excel app scope, then the process works fine.

Any idea how to solve this? it is really weird, because i have another excel app scope which works fine.

Run a process as administrator // Studio 20.10.2

Hello,

I have installed the latest version of Studio (20.10.2) and I have an issue when I try to run a process with Administrator rights.

Steps followed on the previous versions on Studio:
-open the Studio or the Robot with “Run as adminstrator” and press Run from the tool

In 20.10.2 version when I open a flow in studio (already openned with Admin rights) I see the below error.

I searched that error on the forum but those solutions didn’t resolve this issue.
Can you please help me with some ideas?
