Maybe someone else had this problem and can give me a feedback.
When I am trying to “indicate target on screen” the app is freezing, then it starts working and it takes a lot of time to select any item. And that if it’s working from the first attempt, usually not.
I don’t think is about the laptop, is quite good. But I have the impression that I am working with an antic laptop.

joined “Reboot Your Skills”, your 4-week introductory RPA learning program yesterday.
Installed UiPath Studio today & started the first lesson (Unicorn name).
First of all: Whenever using UiPath Studio, I have to re-install the Excel Add-In, otherwise Studio will not find Excel at all & sends an error message.
How can I change that?
Working with Office 2010 (unfortunately).
When checking Excel Options, the UiPath Add-In is always on Inactive Status. Excel keeps pushing it to Inactive & I don’t know how to change that.
Second problem:
When running the first assignment, it starts out looking good, getting the name from the unicorn xls file, entering it in the dedicated website but then it stops, freezes for a while and after some time the following message occurs:

Possible solutions:
• Ensure application is opened and the UI element is visible on the screen at
execution time
• Edit the Target of the UI activity and use Validation to debug the issue.
• If needed, re-indicate the element as its properties might have changed
• Use “Check state” activity to check the application state before executing the action
• Increase the “Delay before” value to allow time to the application to render entirely
and become responsive

Hi,
I am facing one issue while connecting my UiPath Studio with https://platform.uipath.com/ to my service account.
Because of which I am unable to complete my academy Advance Course as well as UiPath Certification.
When I am trying to establish the connection of my local Studio bot with Platform UiPath Orchestrator, showing “Connected” but “Unlicensed”.
Though we have tried with licensed and Unlicensed both the version.
Could anyone faces the same issue ever or can suggest anything as a solution.

Hi guys, nice to be part of such an amazing group. I encountered an issue while building a robot ( the simple one unicorn name generator). When I add the use application/browser I do not get the URL but the following message that I need to enable the UiPath Extension for Chrome before continuing. I already did that and still doesn’t work. Can you advice me, what I have to do or maybe what I do wrong? Thank you very much. Enjoying the program very much.

“Use application/bowser” is missing.
Hi all, I don’t seem to have he “Use application/browser” functionality. Can someone help? I tried looking it up on the “Manage Packages” but not sure what specific package I should install. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, I have enjoyed the session. But I am facing a small problem. I have already added Excel Add-in and got success message. (Please refer attached P1.jpg file). But when I am trying to “Indicate in Excel” , it is giving an error as “Failed to connect to the UiPath Excel Add-in.” I ma using Microsoft Excel 2019 Version. Please help to resolve the issue.

Hi. I have a problem where the main.xaml file in the “First Automation - CurrencyConverter.zip” gives an error “Project is incompatible with StudioX profile” when attempting to open. My version of UiPath StudioX is 2019.10.4. Could you please help me know what I am doing wrong?

Good exercise to start off also the material was easy to follow. Studio X is very user friendly and the built in functions are great. I initially had an issue with excel not opening ("System.Exception: Error opening workbook. Make sure is installed’’), however after some searching I managed to resolve the issue. Looking forward to to the rest of the course as well as engaging with everyone.

Hello,
I also had issues with the Excel Add-in and followed the steps for enabling it.
However, the add-in gets soft-disabled right away once again.
I have circumvented this for now by using Custom Input for the necessary cell ranges.

I have been trying to do the unicornname RPA and running into challenges.I did Use excel and when I select Application/ Browser and indicate the chrome webpage with the url http://www.rpasamples.com/unicornname; it does not go there and does recognizing the individual boxes on the page.

Hi, I am still having issues with the Outlook sending email. I have checked the plugins and started Outlook first than UiPath. Still getting this error. Any thoughts???

i am getting an error message saying “could not connect to UiPath Robot Service. make sure the service is started” but then when i navigate to my computer’s service pane it does say the uipath service is running. does anyone have any guidance?

I think there is a bug in the get Text activity when it comes to passwords ending on ^. This last sign is not captured. Same behavior in Studio and StudioX.

Hello everyone,
I just found out today about this free course and I have setup my PC and started to work on the course. I have an issue when trying to indicate target on screen doesn’t really work. I clicked on it and it shows green as in the video lesson but it doesn’t give me the confirm option. When I took the screenshot I couldn’t focus the mouse click on the Get Name button because the combination key will not work to take a screenshot. Any advice? Thank you, Linda

Hey folks,
I like to build my own SharePoint activities. For that I’m using Activity Creator extension for Visual Studio which delivers a UiPath Standard Activity Project.
For the authentication process I must install the NuGet package “AppForSharePointOnlineWebToolkit”. After the installation in a Console Application Project I get the classes “TokenHelper.cs” and “SharePointContext.cs”.
If I try to install the NuGet package “AppForSharePointOnlineWebToolkit” in an UiPath Standard Activity Project those classes are missing after the installation. I assume it has something to do with inner structure of an UiPath Standard Activity Project (“TokenHelper.cs” and “SharePointContext.cs”). Would someone of you mind to help me with that issue?
